The Williamsburg Library is located in the Williamsburg Municipal
Center. This library covers 40,000 square feet and has abundant free parking.
The Williamsburg Library offers approximately 150,000 volumes, theatre, art
gallery, and meeting rooms. The Williamsburg Regional Library also has a Bookmobile,
which provides personalized mobile library service to those in the community
who have difficulty getting to the library or those with special needs
The James City County Library was opened in July 1996 and was
funded through a James City County bond referendum in March 1994. The 35,000
square feet library offers about 100,000 volumes, behind-the-scenes work areas,
meeting rooms, a family computer literacy center, and a wide array of electronic
information resources. Ample parking is available.
